I thought I would update the blog here with the same update as the fundraiser since it seems like if any preview of writing ought to exist it should appear first where the book primarily "lives".

Here it is:
Generally, one writes the Foreword, if one writes it at all, after the book is complete. Typically someone else writes that section other than the author, but when the author does, he or she usually talks about what it was like writing the book. In the flow of time, though, that hardly seems fair, does it? If one is going to issue a Foreword that they have written as an author, it seems like they ought to do it before they write the book, otherwise it is an afterward. The reader, of course, has no other notion that the Foreword was really written afterward, since their only demarcation of time is to trust the author and that the publisher has affixed the proper headings to the proper places.
The whole ordeal is evocative of the scene in the movie \textit{Crocodile Dundee} when Mick gives the impression he is going to tell the time by the position of the sun as he is exiting a boat in Australia. (he lives there and is rather like a tour guide) The people he is traveling with, while not being native to Australia, have watches. Mick steals a glance at one of the watches, then looks up at the sun as though he is deducing what time it is by the position of the shadows generated by the sunlight. As his companions look at their watch, Mick confidently asserts that it is 2:20 pm. The feint fools his fellow travelers.
The hour of the Age, as delineated by the Prophet Daniel, surely must be getting late. Most of the books that I have written have been written under one kind of hardship or another. None of them have been what I would call especially lucrative in sales. This is due, in part, to the absolute capture of the attention span of the Church by many things that do not matter. While sales are never the only metric of a successful book, they are, at least somewhat, a metric as to whether a writer can continue to spend time writing.
On the other hand, my first two books were not aimed directly at the Church itself, but rather people who were lost and trying to deduce what path to take in their spiritual advancement. Indeed, one finds many things along the way for one's self since one, by authoring such works, is on the trip.
The time for orienting one's self, though, has evaporated. Since Covid in 2020, malign forces have declared an all-out war on anything that does not bend to a false authority. While there is a reprieve in that war at the moment, it does not take much imagination to sense that the miscreants who cooked all of the pandemic up are not going to be content with their crimes against humanity being exposed and designated as such. They will only be happy should their lies become an enshrined truth, because they wish to replace the Church with a commitment to one version of Globalism or another. A healthy Church will naturally resist such a machination. Indeed, those who follow the Messiah are commanded by Him to do so.
All of which brings us to why I am writing this book. There are many professed believers who say they are Christians, and believe in the Messiah, and yet, their absence on the battlefield is palpable. Some Churches are busy fighting for things that the Bible is squarely against. Others are busy trying to forge identities on matters that have nothing to do with Israel, or the ultimate fulfillment of the Messiah in reuniting the lost sheep of Israel. In short, this book is being written \textit{because it seems that a whole lot of professed believers are not doing their jobs}. Perhaps it will serve as a clarion call for some. Maybe it will be ignored like most of the other work I have authored. Perhaps it will become a timeless classic and put on shelves in inspirational libraries. Whatever its destiny, the hope is that the reader reads it and takes careful time to consider the arguments being put forth.
A book affords us the rare opportunity to consider what a mind distant in time from us—either forward or backward—is thinking. Thousands of years before now, Daniel was all ready at the end. So was Abraham. So were many other Prophets given the insight into the unfolding of time and the plan of salvation. They were at once behind us, and in front of us. God, Himself, is both behind us, in front of us, and with us presently. Neither God, nor the Prophets, require the down under trick that Mick pulled to look authoritative. Their testimonies speak for themselves.
As for me, in writing this book, I would classify myself as generally irritated on a given day, but thankful that the Lord has allowed me to keep existing and to continue writing during turbulent times. On the one hand I am insanely blessed to be alive at this time, and on the other highly distressed by how I see people choosing to relate to the spiritual heritage that has been passed down by forefathers who wrought the freedom to believe in blood. While I know God has it all under control, it seems to me it cannot hurt to kick the tires a little and make sure that the vehicle that is our shared Judeo-Christian faith, can carry us to the end. Indeed, we are told to endure until then. On the prophetic watch, I am sure it is around 11:59 pm.
